Treasurer Sherry Brockie of Blackman Charter Township is pleased to announce two new options for paying your property tax and sewer bills by using the internet.
Option 1: The first option is "No Cost to You". You may have the payment deducted from either your checking or savings account. This service will save you time and money by eliminating check writing and postage.
Option 2: The second option is the use of credit/debit cards to make payments. There is a "Convenience Fee" charged to your credit card based on your payment amount.
**DISCLAIMER. All residents of Blackman Charter Township using this service should understand that Blackman Charter Township will not be responsible for the incorrect entry of account numbers by the payer.
**CONSUMER LIABILITY. If you believe your card and/or PIN has been lost or stolen or that someone has transferred or may transfer money from your account without permission, call or write your credit card company. Telephoning is the best way of keeping your possible losses down. You could lose all the money in your account (plus your maximum overdraft line of credit). If you believe your card and/or PIN has been lost or stolen, and you tell your credit card company within 2 business days after you learn of the loss or theft, you can lose no more than $50 if someone used your card and/or PIN without your permission.
OVERPAYMENT: In the case of an overpayment; a refund check will be issued within 30 days of the overpayment.
